A Dedicated Practice:

  Christopher Swanson is a certified Kripalu Yoga and Mindfulness Meditation teacher.  Kripalu yoga is a gentle form of traditional hatha yoga that seeks to foster embodied wisdom, compassionate presence, and generous action.  Kripalu incorporates asana, breathing techniques, and meditation, which draw the awareness to the sensations of the body, breath and mind. By coaching students to be open and curious our intention is to build awareness and calm the mind.

 

   Mindfulness Meditation is defined as bringing ones attention into the present moment and seeing what arises without judgement. Benefits include strength, clarity and resilience of mind, as well as improved sleep and reduced reactivity.
